I have no idea what drew me to this book. It was one that I ran across while browsing through the fiction section, looking for something to read. Maybe it was the cover. Sometimes I do judge a book by its cover. The plot? It was about a woman who owns a furniture store with her husband but finds that her business, her marriage and her life is going downhill.
This book was funny and engaging. It had a bit of mystery to it as well. The humor was a little sarcastic, which I like. The main character was appealing - a woman who found herself in a life she never had planned.
This had the feel of a Susan Isaacs book: good characters, funny plot situations, a little mystery. I liked it.
