The sequel to Father Melancholy's Daughter. I liked this even more than the first book. It takes palce in a small community at the church in which the daughter from the last book is now pastor.
She's married and her husband works at a boys school for troubled kids.
The details of the plot escape me at the moment because I read this a little under a year ago. But I loved this book and wonder if the rest of Gail Godwin's books are as satisfying.
