by Elizabeth Emerson Hancock
This is another religous memoir that was suggested by Amazon in relation to Take This Bread. It's quite different from that book, however. It's written by a young girl who grew up as the daughter of a Baptist minister. She was imbued with religion all her life. Still, there are revelations in her life and moments of conversion.
This book is really funny. Hancock has a great sense of humor. Her father is no longer a minster. He now, I think, works at the Baptist seminary in Lexington (or Woodford Co, maybe). Elizabeth herself was a member of Central Baptist Church in Lexington.
