Catching Fire and Mockingjay

by Suzanne Collins
February 2012

It's unbelievable that I was able to read these one right after the other. Right about the time I started this series, interest peaked among library patrons because of the release of the movie.  There were over 200 people on the waiting list for the first novel, The Hunger Games.

I bought an e-book of Catching Fire  for $5 from Barnes and Noble. By the time I finished it, my hold on a library's copy of Mockingjay came up.
Wow. I loved this whole series.  The excitement kept up right to the very end.
I was slightly disappointed with the conclusion of the action (not the conclusion of the book). I didn't like the way that Collins dealt with President Snow.

But I was very satisfied with the whole series. A fun, exciting set of books.

Wow. I just looked at this a couple of hours ago, and now it looks totally different! Did you do this, or did they automatically do it? It's cool looking, but I'll have to get used to it. It's pretty cool that you can see so many books at once.
